Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2, Mangalore, since its inception in 1992 has been striving hard to cater to the educational needs of the region. Situated at the educational city of Mangalore, it has attracted many students and parents for their dreams to come into reality.

The Vidyalaya due to its relentless service to the public is bestowed with a new abode, a fabulous building and aesthetic surroundings at yekkur during July 2011. The new school building and the other physical infrastructures are pivotal in our future endeavors to excel. Quality cent- percent results in examinations has been the hall-mark of the institution from its inception.

Inclusive education is our mission to cater to the diversified clientele of pupils. The curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are being planned and executed in acute precision to help students in their personality development in the realistic way. A vibrant VMC dedicated staff and enchanting students are the unique features of this temple of knowledge. We dare and care one another!

The school is on an upgradation swing to accommodate higher secondary classes. I am fortunate to associate with the Vidyalaya as Principal since October 2023 in carrying out the tasks and accomplishing the targets set-forth. I solicit the active participation of all stake holders to make this Vidyalaya an active social institution for the national development.
